In News of the Week
 
The Council has opened the newly finished Charlton Council Depot last Thursday and this will be the principal depot for the council, with staff from around the region moving there progressively over the next 6 months.
 
In great news for boaties, those that love to fish and picnic, picnic facilities near the dam wall, and also Loveday Cove, are now open again at Cooby Dam.
 
And lastly the Murphy’s Creek Chilli and Chocolate Festival will be going ahead in 2020.
 
Dates have changed to coincide with the first weekend of the Carnival of Flowers.
It will now be known as The Murhpy’s Creek Chilli Chocolate and Cheese Festival.
